Why should anyone use Asset Support services?

An entire website could be dedicated to answering this question, but we will summarize a few reasons below:

How do you keep our information private?

Each company is offered a pass-code that they must send to us before we will send or release any information. If someone leaves your company and your are concerned about access, we will change the pass-code at your request.

What are your prices?

We have two monthly pricing plans: 

1. PM Email delivery only- $100 per month 

2. PM Email delivery, PM program development, PM program assessment, PM reporting and analysis, PM program backup, Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices consulting – $ 1,450 per month.

What are you selling?

We are selling support service. Many people can create PM programs, reports and spreadsheets, but that is not what we are selling. Our purpose is to transfer our decades of preventative maintenance and asset management experience into a service to benefit our customers.

Who benefits the most from working with Asset Support Services?

All companies with physical assets that require servicing can benefit from working with us.

What if I am using a CMMS to manage my parts inventory?

There is no reason to stop using your CMMS for any reason unless you are not satisfied with the results or believe you do not have enough resources to utilize it. You can use your CMMS to manage your parts inventory without it affecting how you use it to manage your PM program.

Does Asset Support Services take on all potential customers?

No. We are committed to providing our customers with the results they expect and therefore manage how many new customers we bring on.

How do you acquire the information needed to service our preventative maintenance needs and requirements?

1. Email a list or spreadsheet of your equipment with model and serial numbers.

2. Email a picture of your equipment data plates.

3. Schedule us to come to your facility and document your PM’s. We will negotiate a price for this service.

Are you saying that using a CMMS is a waste of time and money?

Not at all. From our experience we have found that companies with enough employee resources can utilize the many benefits a CMMS can offer. However, a CMMS has to not only have data to function, it has to have the right data to be fully utilized. Asset Support Services can tie your PM program into your CMMS.

What if I am already have a successful PM program?

Great. You may still want to consider us for keeping your PM program updated and backed up.

What happens if my company decides to stop using Asset Support Services?
